I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know of the outstanding service that my husband and I have received for your agent Teresa Fikaris. We feel extremely lucky that Teresa was the one responding to our e-mail request.

From the moment I received my first e-mail I knew Teresa has compassion for assisting people in purchasing a new home. Since we are out of state, Teresa has definitely gone the extra mile to make sure we know everything we need to know for an out of state purchase.

Once we were able to confirm a date to visit the Ocala area, Teresa worked with us to locate all the properties that would be in our price range. I know we drove her crazy with all our “requirements” but she continued to locate property after property. When we arranged a day to view the properties Teresa picked us up at our hotel and she treated us like long lost friends. We honestly felt like we knew her for years!

Teresa spent the entire day with us even giving up meals- taking us to see many different properties. If we had a question or concern about a property we had already visited, she immediately took us back to see it again, so we could answer our own questions. She provided us with local information about the Ocala area, was able to inform us on the schools, and had other pertinent information that she thought would be useful in our decision making.

Teresa hasn’t stopped for a moment. She e-mailed and phoned us before we even got back home to Maryland. She was able to get contacts for everything we needed, from our irrigation to utilities. This has been such a tremendous help since we are out of town.

The best part was a post card we received from Teresa with a thank you note. The post card was actually a photo of our new home which we could show to everyone. This was such a great surprise!

Somehow we know that once we purchase our home and relocate to Ocala, Teresa will still continue to follow up with us. We welcome her as our agent and also consider her as our friend. We would highly recommend her to anyone that is looking to purchase a home. As we previously mentioned, we feel lucky to have found her. We can proudly say that she definitely likes up to her slogan… going the extra mile with a smile.

I’m just writing to you to say what a wonderful experience we had with Teresa Fikaris as we searched for a house in Ocala, Florida.

Teresa’s motto is “Going the extra mile with a smile”. She truly does. My fiancé and I were looking for a small horse property to buy, and Teresa showed both patience and diligence in trying to accommodate our needs. We live in Connecticut, so the logistics were not all that easy.

Just wanted to let you know what a wonderful experience we had with Teresa. She listened to what we were looking for and found listings to match. It was wonderful working with someone that listens to your wants and needs. She did not try to go to a higher price bracket, or have us change “our goals” and “have to have’s”.

When we settled on a development, she was very quick to respond with some possibilities. It ended up that after two days of searching we found the house we wanted to bid on. Teresa was very helpful in the bidding process and communication was very clear. She was able to help us out with the inspections, seeing that we are from out of state. She was with the inspector and gave us the results as soon as possible. She also helped us with contacts for all we needed to do before closing which was a short month.

Teresa went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and is a great person who we will refer to others, if they follow us to Ocala.

I am writing to inform you of our home buying experience.

For months, my husband and I were told ‘now is the time to buy’, and when we decided to begin the process I did my research and learned all about why my husband and I should get a Buyer’s Agent. Somehow I found an agent that was not responsive, professional, or grammatically correct. Needless to say, when I was contacted by Teresa (regarding a Keller Williams listing I had called) I was ecstatic to have someone interested in helping us find a home. I went to her website and knew she was the agent my husband and I would be working with.

Over the next few months, as we saved up, Teresa kept in touch in a non-annoying or obtrusive way. She made a recommendation for a lender, but we decided to go through our credit union. She was supportive in our decision and cooperative through the process despite never working with our lender before.

When it came time to look at houses, Teresa was able to get us into every home I wanted to see and a few she found that satisfied our requirements. We had two very busy Saturdays with 6-8 houses toured each day! She was patient, observant, and a true professional. She pointed out what we should be looking for (as we have never bought a home before), answered all the questions she could, and was a catalyst for us to move forward when we found a home we liked. After making offers on 3 houses, one finally stuck!

Teresa was our liaison through the process, and proved to be a valuable addition to our home buying team. My husband and I both work full-time, and if Teresa hadn’t been on our side, I don’t know if we would have gotten our dream home. As expected, issues arose through the process, but Teresa was there every step of the way offering insight, support, and a positive perspective!

Through the process, I realized time and time again how truly blessed my husband and I were to have Teresa as our agent. She is professional, personable, positive, polite, punctual, and patient.

I have recommended her to many people, and will never stop singing her praises! I keep a few of her cards in my wallet just in case I hear someone mention they are looking to buy a home. Un-informed friends and family ask me all the time if a Buyer’s Agent was necessary, and after I tell them all that Teresa did for us (at no charge) they understand how truly necessary it was to have Teresa (not just any agent) on our team.

We came into contact with Teresa while we were in the initial stage of searching for a home. And while we cannot remember the exact order of occurrences that brought us in contact, what transpired after meeting her is nothing short of unbelievable.
